Overview
The Computer Scientist supports applied research and analytics development for Navy and DoD programs, focusing on analytics tools, software development, data visualization, and system support.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct applied research and support development of analytics solutions

  • Design, develop, test, and implement analytics applications and tools

  • Develop and maintain dashboards, models, simulations, and visualization tools

  • Support maintenance, supply, and readiness data analysis

  • Develop System Design Plans (SDP), Database Design Documents (DBD), Use Case Documents (UCD), and Interface Design Documents (IDD)

  • Support customer-facing analytics applications

Required Qualifications

  • U.S. Citizenship required; Tier 3 eligible

  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field OR

    • Associate’s degree plus four (4) additional years of experience

  • Six (6) years of relevant computer science or analytics experience

  • AMSRR, OARS, AFSTAT, MDAT, REMIS

  • LIMS-EV, Microsoft Windows, Microsoft Office
