We’re seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Project Manager with proven experience leading large IT initiatives and system implementations. In this role, you will drive cross-functional collaboration, manage project timelines and deliverables, and ensure outcomes meet high-quality standards. The ideal candidate will bring strong communication skills, expertise in managing the full project lifecycle, and the ability to navigate the needs of various stakeholders with confidence. Responsibilities include leading multiple development projects from initiation through delivery, providing PMO support, maintaining detailed schedules, managing risks, and serving as the primary liaison between project teams and client stakeholders. You’ll also be responsible for supporting all project phases—from planning and requirements gathering to deployment and post-implementation reviews—while producing executive-level briefings, reports, and documentation.

To succeed in this position, candidates must have a minimum of six years of program and/or project management experience, be a U.S. citizen able to obtain a Public Trust clearance, and be available to work onsite full-time. You’ll need demonstrated experience managing cross-functional teams, providing PMO support, and working with both project management and software development lifecycles. Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, Project Professional, and Adobe Acrobat is required, along with excellent written and verbal communication skills. Preferred qualifications include a PMP certification, active Public Trust clearance, federal consulting experience, and familiarity with platforms such as Oracle Analytics Cloud, Drupal, SharePoint, and ServiceNow. Knowledge of BI tools, financial management, or organizational change management is a plus.

Duties:
  • Lead and manage multiple development projects from initiation through delivery, ensuring alignment with program goals, timelines, and quality standards.
  • Provide comprehensive PMO support across assigned projects, including schedule management, risk tracking, governance, reporting, change control, and quality management.
  • Create and maintain detailed project schedules with defined milestones, dependencies, and delivery dates. Coordinate updates with other schedule owners and integrate into the Program Integrated Master Schedule (IMS).
  • Assess and communicate program-level impacts resulting from changes in project schedules or priorities.
  • Support all phases of the project lifecycle, including requirements gathering, planning, user testing, deployment, and post-implementation reviews.
  • Serve as the primary liaison between project teams and client stakeholders to ensure effective coordination and clear communication across all efforts.
  • Develop and deliver executive-level status reports, briefings, white papers, and presentations for all levels of government personnel.
  • Respond to urgent and time-sensitive program data calls with accuracy and efficiency.
  • Review technical documentation, project deliverables, and work products to ensure quality and compliance with project standards.
  • Identify and recommend opportunities for PMO process improvements to enhance efficiency and consistency.
  • Facilitate meetings with clients and internal teams; document agendas, meeting minutes, action items, and track follow-ups through completion.
  • Interpret and apply government policies, regulations, and directives relevant to program and project activities.
  • Partner with organizational change management teams to support communications, training, and stakeholder engagement efforts.
  • Provide mentorship, guidance, and technical direction to junior project staff as needed.

Required Qualifications:
  • Minimum of 6 years of experience in program and/or project management.
  • Ability to work 100% onsite during core business hours (Monday to Friday 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM).
  • Must be a U.S. Citizen and able to obtain and maintain a Public Trust clearance.
  • Demonstrated experience managing cross-functional teams and complex projects.
  • Proven experience providing PMO support, including scheduling, risk management, reporting, and governance.
  • Strong knowledge of the project management lifecycle and software development lifecycle (SDLC) processes.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to prepare clear reports and presentations for diverse audiences.
  • Highly organized, proactive, and detail-oriented, with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
  • Strong collaboration skills and the ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, Project Professional, and Adobe Acrobat.

Desired Qualifications:
  • Project Management Professional (PMP) certification.
  • Active Public Trust or higher security clearance.
  • Federal consulting experience.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Management, or a related field.
  • Experience with Oracle Analytics Cloud, Drupal, SharePoint, and/or ServiceNow platforms.
  • Strong understanding of data analytics, reporting, and business intelligence (BI) tools.
  • Background or foundational knowledge in accounting or financial management.
  • Experience supporting organizational change management, training, or stakeholder communications.
