SQL Database Administrator

Level: Senior
Location: Fort Belvoir, VA

Minimum Qualifications:
Eight years of experience in SQL database administration supporting and managing databases in a production environment - Five years of experience installing, configuring, and supporting Microsoft SQL Server in High Availability Group configurations. Five years of experience with T-SQL and ability to write scripts, stored procedures, triggers, and views to automate maintenance functions. Three years of experience serving as a team leader working as both part of a team and independently to assign/review immediate tasks, set priorities, maintain task progress, validate team members’ work consistent with the organizational goals and deadlines. Three years of experience mentoring junior personnel on proper practices and procedures. Three years of experience planning and implementing security measures to safeguard information against accidental or unauthorized damage, modification or disclosure in accordance with industry best practices and DISA STIGs.

Certifications:
TS/SCI clearance with SBI and ability to attain SI, TK, G, HCS, and NATO Secret clearance - Microsoft Certified Solutions Associate (MSCA) or SQL Server 2016 or SQL Database Administration Certification; DoD 8140.03 IAT Level II/Intermediate certification

• CompTIA Security+ (Sec+) – Most widely required
• CompTIA CySA+
• CompTIA PenTest+
• GIAC Security Essentials (GSEC)
• Cisco CCNA Security – Retired, but still honored if previously earned

• (ISC)² Systems Security Certified Practitioner (SSCP) – Qualifies for both Level I and Level II
