Job Summary
Works within the Department of Defense (DoD), specifically U.S. Space Force/Space Systems Command (SSC)/SYD88/NX. Plays a crucial role in supporting day-to-day program execution and coordination activities within the SYD88/NX MUOS narrowband satellite communications program. Supports the FMS/Engineering Program Specialist manager and balances their time, spending 75% supporting FMS tasks and 25% supporting Engineering tasks. 

Telework is supported at 50%. Travel is required. 



Responsibilities and Duties
Note: The following duties/responsibilities are in support of FMS tasks (75% FTE):
  • Provides program management support to the FMS Lead and Project Team under general supervision and using discretion and independent judgement.
  • Supports the FMS Lead and Project Team in day-to-day program execution and coordination activities.
  • Analyzes program requirements and coordinate with internal and external stakeholders to develop and maintain program documentation, including: Program plans, schedules, briefings and reports; Correspondence and contract or contact modifications; Technical instructions, procedures, and related materials; Coordinate, schedule, and participate in internal and external stakeholder meetings; Prepare and distribute meeting agendas, briefing materials, minutes, and action-item trackers; Track and follow up on action items to ensure timely resolution and communication; Maintain distribution lists for multiple internal and external stakeholder groups, including U.S. Government and international agencies; and Maintain and manage content on the FMS Intelink site, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
Note: The following duties/responsibilities are in support of Engineering tasks (25% FTE):
  • Provides program management support to the Chief Engineer, Deputy Chief Engineer, and Engineering Group under general supervision and using discretion and independent judgement.
  • Prepares and distributes meeting agendas, briefing materials, minutes, and action-item trackers.
  • Tracks and follows up on action items to ensure timely resolution and communication.
  • Maintains distribution lists for multiple internal and external stakeholder groups, including U.S. Government and international agencies.
Qualifications and Skills
Required knowledge and years of experience
Must have at least five (5) years of experience in Program Management. 


Education Requirements
Bachelor's Degree in Management, Business, Systems Engineering, or related field is required for this position.

Salary
The minimum salary starts at $90,000 and the max is negotiable based on experience.
