JOB SUMMARY:
Genesis Consulting is seeking an experienced, forward-thinking Program Management Lead with a passion for growth and business transformation. Our client is seeking experienced professionals to support its Digital Transformation initiative through the implementation of a modern, cloud-based Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system. The role involves providing Organizational Change Management services to streamline core business processes, including Human Capital Management, Financial Administration, Procurement, and Asset Management. Key responsibilities include developing implementation strategies, managing project governance, conducting business process fit-gap analyses, designing training programs, and driving organizational change to ensure successful adoption of the new ERP system. Ideal candidates will have experience with large-scale ERP implementations, strong leadership skills, and expertise in change management methodologies. This project is critical to the mission of improving operational efficiency and enhancing student outcomes.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
· Lead end-to-end program management for ERP implementation initiatives, ensuring alignment with organizational strategy, timelines, and business objectives.
· Maintain strong knowledge of the selected ERP solution, implementation roadmap, standard capabilities, and common risks and gaps.
· Develop and manage the program strategy, implementation roadmap, project plans, schedules, resource allocation, and governance structures.
· Advise on optimal business workflows and process design inside and outside the ERP solution, clearly communicating options, costs, risks, and trade-offs.
· Oversee business process fit-gap analysis, workflow development, and solution design.
· Manage program risks, issues, dependencies, and mitigation strategies, providing clear and consistent status reporting and KPIs.
· Plan, lead, and facilitate project meetings, working groups, and Steering Committee sessions, including preparation of executive-level materials.
· Monitor progress against deliverables, milestones, and release dates, holding teams accountable for quality and timelines.
· Lead testing, training, and organizational readiness activities to support successful deployment and user adoption.
· Track success, satisfaction, and adoption metrics, incorporating lessons learned through retrospectives and continuous improvement.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS/EXPERIENCE:
· 7+ years of experience in program or project management, with significant experience leading large-scale ERP implementations, specifically Peoplesoft, Oracle, or Workday.
· Proven experience in successfully implementing cloud/SaaS ERP solutions for K-12 school districts or organizations of comparable size and complexity within the last five years.
· Expertise in Program Management, including strategy development, governance, risk management, business process fit-gap analysis, and training execution.
· Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional teams, including employees, contractors, and solution vendors, with a focus on collaboration and effective communication.
· Experience in post-deployment services to drive adoption, meet program metrics, and refine ERP functionality.
· Familiarity with K-12 school district operations, including unique business processes, workflows, and challenges.
· Strong knowledge of data governance best practices, including role-based access, change control, and data management.
· Capacity to work on-site in Portland, Oregon, with a resource model that emphasizes in-person engagement and collaboration.
· Demonstrated experience managing complex, cross-functional programs involving business process transformation and technology delivery.
· Strong understanding of ERP platforms, implementation methodologies, and common risks and challenges associated with ERP deployments.
· Proven ability to develop and manage program governance, schedules, budgets, resources, and risk management processes.
· Experience facilitating executive-level meetings, Steering Committees, and cross-functional working groups.
· Excellent communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills.
· Ability to advise on business process optimization and change management, including user adoption and training.
MINIMUM EDUCATION:
· Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field. Master’s Degree preferred.
REQUIRED CERTIFICATIONS:
· PMP, PgMP, SAFe, CSM or equivalent project/program management certification required.

· Must be local to Portland with ability to be onsite as needed.
